Celebrate CNY and Valentine's At Brotzeit

Celebrate Prosperity & Perfect Matches with '$88' Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day Menus

This festive Lunar New Year, celebrate the season of abundance with Brotzeit’s bountiful Chinese New Year Prosperity Platter (for 3 to 4 persons) priced at an auspicious $88 to symbolize the ubiquitous greeting of ‘fortune and favour’.

Bringing a touch of Germany to the Year of the Rooster, the centerpiece of this platter is a traditional ‘Bavarian Brathendl’ – a Spit-Roasted Whole Chicken with irresistibly crispy skin and moist, marinated meat that’s plump with flavours of lemon and herb. As Group Executive Chef Wolfgang Ranner shares, “We’re very selective about the size of the hen, especially its weight, as these determine close-to perfect consistency during the cooking process. Brotzeit’s German roast chicken is best paired with a crisp, refreshing lager such as Löwenbräu, to enhance the savoury, lemon-infused meat.”

In accordance with Chinese New Year traditions, Brotzeit’s Prosperity Platter also includes a hearty portion of Oven-Roast Pork Belly – topped with Brotzeit’s signature crunchy pork crackling. Enjoy this layered beauty of tender pork and melt-in-your-mouth fat with a generous drizzling of Brotzeit’s housemade brown beer sauce. Juicy Grilled Salmon Steak rounds off this meat fest, alongside pan-fried Shiitake, Oyster and Button Mushrooms, Sweet Potato Mash and a serve of Chinese Cabbage stirred up in Garlic Cream Sauce.

Brotzeit’s Chinese New Year Prosperity Platter is available at all outlets for dine-in and take-away from 24 January to 5 February.

Brotzeit celebrates the season of love this Valentine’s with a Tasting Love Menu for 2 ($88 for 3-courses). Each couple’s meal begins with a shared, small bites platter combining Shrimp in Brandy Sauce, Black Forest Ham slices with a Horseradish garnish, as well as Mozzarella and Tomato Slices topped with Pesto sauce.

For mains, there’s a selection of three hearty choices perfect for couples with lusty appetites. Seafood lovers will enjoy the Grilled Salmon Steak, accompanied by a creamy lemon sauce, buttered German noodles and seasonal vegetables. There’s also the all-time classic Grilled Sirloin Steak with Creamy Mushroom Sauce, sided by decadent truffle mash and roast vegetables, or a filling bowl of Chicken Fricassee cooked in a luscious cream sauce with mushrooms, peas, asparagus and carrot.

Dessert arrives for sharing, once again, as a platter of delicate Crêpe and Warm Raspberry Saucetopped with double scoops of vanilla ice cream – a perfect match indeed.

Brotzeit’s Valentine’s Day 3-course Menu for 2 is available at all outlets for dine-in from 9 to 19 February.
